capture one just came out with a $300 version 7. i use lightroom 4. there seems to be a zealous debate out there as to whether capture one is significantly better than lightroom.
has anyone here used both and can comment from knowledge on their personal experience? i think this is a topic of interest to many of us!

It may in fact be better -- whatever "better" means, I get the results that look good to my eye in Aperture and then I stop -- but I find it to be the least intuitive piece of software I have ever tried. It is quite literally a chore to use. I'll pass. And it's too bad, because it has layers, which would be cool in LR or Aperture.
