With the EVF Typ 020 and a cheap QBM-M adapter it is possible to focus QBM lenses without any modifications being done to them.

So THAT is why I can't find a decent 25mm C/Y lens, I was wondering where they had all gone to! And yes, in the UK, the 50mm 1.4 has shot up in price and is becoming rarer. Btw, one 50mm 1.4mm Zeiss you might not have thought of is the Contax N version - unfortunately, there is only one (decent) adaptor on the market for that, unless you get it permanently changed to a Canon mount.

There are many new lenses that are optically better than the old QMB or CY lenses, so there are options available. I happen to still own QMB lenses but I stopped using my Rollei SLR cameras.
