I got this lens from a very old friend who had been a photographer for theFBI in the 40's, 50's, and 60's. It was her prize lens and she wanted me to have it. The lens was used in a Zeiss Ikon camera. Focusing the lens was done by rotating a wheel in the body of the lens. I am trying to find an adapter to use the lens on a digital camera such as RICOH GXR m mount adapter, Fuji xPro1 with m mount adapter, or leica LTM of M mounts. Your help would be deeply appreciated. Cheers, Jack

The host here (cameraquest) sells an Amedao adopter that can change the mount to either LTM, M or Micro 4/3rds and a few others. If you go to LTM or M, you can then convert to Fuji and a few other systems if I remember right. But if you can't quite find what you need simply email our host.

an amedeo (or amadeo) contax to Ltm/m adapter are available on ebay, i got one as on my profile picrture, i believe such an adaptor exist for m4/3, i have no idea for xpro. Google or ebay search is your friend. Look for adapter that has internal mounting as 50mm contax mounted on the in-side of the adapter. Outside mounting is for 35/85/135mm
