Wrist loop.
Just tried it this evening, for the first time. Needed to take the cameara out to run a roll through it to test for light leaks, meter readings, et cetera, so I improvised a hasty, short wrist loop out of an old bit of poncho-hood drawstring.
Shortened it after the first five minutes, until it was just a bit longer than what one sees on a cross-country ski pole.
Perfect.
With this rig I can wind one-handed, even shoot one-handed if required, and still gesticulate wildly. Camera's fairly light, too, even with the 90mm on it.
