I have this Zenobia 645 that came with a broken shutter and a voigtar lens,... then one day I found a neo-hespar lens locally in a good shutter, so I replaced them.
Come to find out, the neo-hespar had a back element
that had suffered some sort of chemical reaction and was nearly opaque. I scraped a thick crusty film off with my pocket knife and then polished it with a red polishing rouge. It could use some more polishing, but this is what the lens does at the moment.
It lost micro contrast and sharpness, but it still has something going on. I'm glad I put the time into it.
The Zenobia performed better than I had expected.
Anyway, this is a car show I was at this past weekend.
