Case for M3

I need a case for my M3..Any recommendation? For about 50euro.

Iam form Croatia..I dont know what sort of case. 😀 I need some to protect my M. Maybe old leather fullcase or halfcase...really dont know 😀 I dont have experience with any

Gorane, mr. zhou case is in my regard the best half case you can get for your money. Try ebaying Zhou case 🙂.

+1 for zhou case. If your budget doesn't allow for a Leicatime case, then I'd go to ebay for a zhou.

Goran, I have an old Leica ever-ready case that came with my M3 and I'm not using it. What lens does it have to have room for?

My case: Crumpler Sporty Guy 1.0.
Fits M3 with 50mm Summicron. Even better with collapsible Summcron.
35mm lens also fine, of course.
My solution, because I dont like halfcases and want the M3 naked. 😀
Bought it for 12 Euro at a store in Konstanz. But I think costs more normally.


If you need space for two more lenses, the old Minolta CLE leather case is cool and cheap.

Looks like you've got a lead on a Leica 👎ever-ready case, which would have been one suggestion, or as others have said, google "Zhou case", these look well made and will have that new-leather smell 🙂

Mr. Zhou was clearing out some samples on his half cases. I bought one for my M3 and have been very happy with it. (see my avatar). --Warren

If you will use the original Leica 👎everready (half)-case, I highly recommend to have the straps renewed.
The old leather can easily break. If it's happen with your M3 in it.....😱😱

I have an M4-2 case that I use occasionally for my M2. Ought to fit the M3.
