There are a lot of cats around the RFF - I am fairly new to this forum - so if you have been trough this before my appologies.
I posted a Picture of My Publishing Cat together with two friends - when it was a kitten - on top of my pc-screen ! yes I both have teddy bears and a live cat at my office
Being self employd you get a lousy paycheck, work late but at least no one tells you you cant bring Teddy Bears
As we work far to much we found that we would spend more time with the cat if it was at the office and when we moved in 2003 to a new office domicil we had a lot of trouble getting the cat permitted into the lease - when we finally put our foot down and said that we would fine another place the owner finally gave in - sort of fun having the only lease for a company domicil in Denmark having a paragraph saing " Further more apart from the mentioned activites one Publishing Cat is allowed on the premisies"
It is named Emil - after a boy in the swedish author Astrid Lindgreens storys - "Emil från Lönneberga" and he is every bit as bad and cute as Emil was
Lindgren should have been awarded the nobel prize in litterature - but that is a different story.
His father was a run away Norweigan forrest cat (a bit like a small maincoon) and the mother was my british shorthair at home.
So what are your cat stories
