The thought of a Contax RF adapter to M8 has enthused me .
I have no M mount lenses , but being able to mount my collapsible Sonnar , or that lovely J3 Sonnar , is just too tempting !
Then there is trawling through all my J8s and J8m .
I know that the Helios is stunning , I just hope it is OK with the adapter .
That I am really comfortable with the nom 67mm focal length , is a real bonus !

I have a Summitar and Elmar in screw mount , but the majority of my USSR lenses don't focus correctly .

Ok , there will be a Leica M to m43 , but it's kinda secondary now , but this has been something of a wake up call .

Go with an Amedeo adapter. I would contact him directly and let him know what lenses you plan to use. I would send him the one with tightest tolerance, probably the J-3, to have him test it with the adapter.

Search for "Amedeo." He's a member of RFF who makes & sells adapters on eBay. There have been many RFF threads discussing his Contax & Nikon RF-Leica M & Contax & Nikon RF-LTM adapters, as well as the vintage adapters made by Orion & Cook & Perkins.
