Its funny when you see something like that next to a load of random things really unexpected. It feels like its been used but well looked after everything works on it perfectly, looks like it never had a strap on it and even has a motor drive adapter plate. I asked if it came in with anything else but only a vivitar teleconverter.

I do believe most of the black plain prism cameras came with motor drives. I've got one that someone put together with a chrome FTn prism, and slapped a worn out drive on it. It looked a lot better once I got a plain prism for it. Enjoy your "new" F!

Since it was mentioned in OP, insight me, please, why so many pro and semi pro Nikon mechanical SLRs are with dinks on the prism housing?
I have no problem to get not dinked EM, FG-20 and Nikkormat. But every time I look at upscale Nikon SLRs from mechanical era, too many have damaged prism housing.

^ That, and very thin brass. It's why Nikon wouldn't put the accessory shoe on the prism for the early cameras.
