Trying to show photography students in a Sports Photography class that you don't have to have thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment to capture a sports image.
Picked up this Argus C3 for $19 on the auction site:
And while they certainly ain't gonna win no Pulitzers, you can get High School action sports images without autofocus, a motor drive, or a zoom lenses.
Best,
-Tim

That shot of the statue by peterm1 is a masterpiece of composition, cropping, whatever. Really powerful shot. Having such a great subject doesn't hurt either. Sits still, doesn't fidget, doesn't complain. I should shoot more statues :]

I buy my cameras in car boot sales for less than £20-£30 usually but this does not make them cheap, they are expensive cameras to buy online.
A camera that it is still cheap (<£30) and is an excellent camera is the Zeiss Ikon Nettar.
Here are some pictures

Oooh! Another Perle! I have a rather more battered one with a Trioplan lens - how do you get on with that awful shutter release, or do you just use a cable?
Here's mine:

These images were taken with a Brownie Holiday Camera. Film was Verichrome Pan 127. Bonus points if you can identify the camera the girl on the left is carrying in the second picture. At least it looks like a camera
