I've been trying to get out and shoot with my Retina I, but have been concerned with the camera body becoming scratched and dinged...
( I know these things were "made to be used", but I also would like to preserve a nice camera as much as possible 🙄 )
So, after dropping some film off at Wal-Mart for processing, I took a look at their selection of camera bags and cases.
I had the Retina I with me, so I was able to "try them on" before buying... 😉.
I found one case that seemed nearly ideal:
the " icon digital camera case ", # SLV 111 - BLK.
It's black faux-leather, has a top-flap with velcro closure. There's a loop on the back for threading one's belt through, and lugs on the side for the shoulder-strap (included). I "wear" mine on my belt.
It goes for about $8.99.
This case may accomodate the II Retina and the-b series... take your camera with you to check fit before you buy.
I also picked-up a small Lowe-pro bag the other week, to accomodate my 1930 Zeiss 9 x 12 plate camera.
Cheers ! 😎
