I had read that Walgreens brand Studio 35 film is actually Agfa film. Very Cheap! I actually just got 8 rolls for $5.99. I Also think I read that you can get a photo CD for $2.00. Does anyone know anything about this. When I was there it looked like it was over $5.00 just for processing and $2.99 for the CD..... Id actually rather the CD then the prints anyways.

I picked up 2 of the 8 packs a couple weeks ago. I had some really bad luck with their 800, but good luck with their 200.

For my everyday photos, I go to Walgreens. I've found one store that does a consistent job. It comes to $5 and change for developing and CD ROM.

Some Walgreens are apparently refusing to issue the CD unless you buy prints. I've never had this happen, but back in September a co-worker of mine got thrown out of a Walgreens after getting in an argument with a store manager over this. He phoned the head office and they said the manager was wrong and yes, a develop-only with CD is a service they offer.

Most of the newer Walgreens use the Fuji Frontier machine which will do a good medium-res scan, but a few still have the older (Noritsu?) machines that will do lo-res floppy disk only.
