Hi I have the SF58 which is great and all but I don't use much of it. I find working with sync cable too complicated at the moment and quite an overkill to lug around plus the unbalance weight on the M9 really uncomfortable . I was hoping to find a munual flash the size of sf24D that let me stop down to 1/32 or more. Any suggestions?

You can stop down to f/32 with any flash, it depends on your ISO and the subject distance. The only other flash the size of an SF24D and cheaper, that picks up the ISO setting from the M9 is the SF20, if you can do without the "TTL" flashmetering. I never use TTL, and wish now I'd saved my money and kept the SF20.
