Hi everybody!
I´d like to get a wide lens (no more than 20mm) in a budget, and would like to know which are the best choices. It seems there´s not too much besides the Voigtlanders, but I wonder if someone is using for example a M42 adapter with some lens I should know

Is it the Orion 15? I think that's a 28/6 There's the Russar too, that's a 20/5.6. Lets see...

Hm, the Orion-15 is rather expensive, and the Russar even more so. Getting a used 21/f4 CV lens seems like the most reasonable option (and the lens is excellent).

Just goes to show how long it has been since I looked at buying a proper wide...
Damn economy, it interferes with my GAS.

The 20mm Zeiss Jena Flektagon is as fantastic lens, and the 1970's vintage 20mm Vivitar is pretty decent also. You'd still need to get a LTM to Exacta or 42mm thread mount adapter, and buy a viewfinder. That would wipe out a lot of the savings over buying the 21mm VC. Those older lenses aren't multi-coated and are a lot larger than lenses designed for a RFDR camera.

Zenitar 16mm Fisheye
Zenitar 16mm Fisheye
I purchased off 3bay a Zenitar 16mm fisheye.
It was fun, i finally upped to a better 15mm, so I can sell this fisheye, I jammed a toothpick in so you can change the aperture, it has some weird spring that wont let you change it.
it has an M adaptor.
~200 will take it + shipping.
thanks
