Check out this estate sale

I'm writing an email to them interested in one of the cameras. I'm a little skeptical though, untill i see a photo of the camera near a recent newspaper I'm gonna be very wary.

Has anyone gotten a response from them?

I think it is a little cruel to have something like this come out just 2 days before Christmas.

Because you can strain your neck reading the list of cameras? 😛

They have about 2 1/2 pages of just developing trays.. Why on earth would anyone need that many developing trays in the first place?? There's a couple Autocords too. Hmmm.. Cruel indeed!

ahhh, for some reason the file is sideways in Adobe reader. How do I turn it? Any clues? Help

There should be a "turn clockwise" icon on the toolbar.

Just heard back about my inquiry. Here is what she sent to me

Rickey,

I can get photo's for you, the 1122 camera, someone has already
committed to buying it (I haven't received the money yet), and will take
photos, you never know, the promise to buy may not pan out.

I have a suspicion though, that the person is serious, and the money
will come.

We will take photos of the cameras on a current newspaper, no problem.
Not to sound odd, but there are more boxes that we have yet to
inventory, and there is still the lenses/filters/darkroom equipment (I haven't
even started on that part yet).

Seems the $90 Rollieflex is spoken for

Yeah, I inquired about the Autocord, the Canonet GIII, and the Konica S2. All were spoken for but there were several more Konica's they found in a box that she was going to have her brother look at.

I got a reply on the Rolleiflex too. Susan said it was sold though. Oh well. I'm looking at those Graflexes though, I got to use one while in school it was a lot of fun. Ohh and a 4x5" negative. mmm mmm good.

I posted the item on Nelsonfoto. I actually came upon the site after I responded to a listing on Photo.Net classifieds, for a Revueflex-B (rebadged Zenit B) SLR for all of $9 plus actual shipping cost. I suggested to the seller that the Retina IIIc she was selling for peanuts might actually just need to have the frame counter reset.

Having corresponded a bit with the seller, I think I can vouch absolutely for her. She is selling her late father's collection. I'm pretty sure the detailed list was prepared by him before he died. She does not know a lot about cameras, but is learning. She definitely is concerned not to rip people off. For example, I asked about a Minolta Super A on the list that I was interested in, and after taking it to her brother, she told me that it does not work. (I'm still interested in that one.)
