Is anyone using an Iflord Ilfolab 2150 RC these days? I see that it stipulates two one-gallon chemicals of 2000 series each of dev and fix, has anyone reformulated to use with other Ilford paper chemicals such as Ilford PQ Universal and Rapid fix? It appears that the Ilfolab is designed to run at higher temperatures than standard "room temperature" darkroom work.

Looks like some views but no responses, does anyone else have one of these units? I'll write up my experiments if others are interested.

The same problem you have with any Thermaphot. You can use the Rollei 2150 kit. Almost all regular acid fixer you can use on 30 C, but not all paper developers you can use on 30C.
So you have to check this out. Also in a Thermaphot the regular developing time is 2x45S on 30C which can be succesfully done at 1+4 dilution of the chemicals.
