Chemicals mixed, could be souping my first film in 12 years tonight.

Tri 400.

Good old classic.

Oh, the smell of fixer when I was mixing it, brought back memories.

Have fun! I remember that first roll I developed after many years, it's such a cool experience. What developer did you choose for the occasion? When it was my turn I went for Rodinal.

Have fun!

D76. Staying with the basics.
So much to relearn.

Great choice. It's actually what I used to use exclusively "back in the day" but the ease of mixing Rodinal led me to get back into it with a new developer.

I hope you post something from your first efforts, good luck!

Sooo Vick, what led you to contemplate home developing after 7 years on RFF?
Usually the RFF elixir takes effect much quicker. My wife can attest to that :)

Souped up just fine (at first glance). Oh it was fun.

--- >t.s.k.: have I only been here 7 years? Seems longer.

Next, to print !!!! And I'm going to get my 12 year old son to join me.

Notice that my oldest son is 12 years old. His bedroom was my former darkroom.
:)

So, yeah, commercial labs for film for 12 years. And in colour. I wouldn't have done colour at home.
