Chrome or Black 35/1.2 Nokton?

Yes that is correct, sorry, the chrome were focus corrected for Digital M's, but there was an earlier version of the chrome that wasn't. And that version was the same price as the black.

Do you have any proof of this? According to Cameraquest, all 300 chrome lenses left the factory adjusted and there wener't any before that, to my knowledge.

Leicashot, I was just about to respond to the post that implied there were Silver versions of this lens released (at least here in the States) that didn't have the M8/M9 shroud modification to them.....in order to disagree with that notion. You beat me to it! As far as I know, at least here in the States, the original run of these chrome lenses all had the shroud modification. Whether they arrived on these shores and had the shroud modificaton done to all of them here in the States before being sold or arrived on these shores with the modification already done, I cannot say.

folks,

there was only one run of the chrome 35/1.2's
and it came long after the initial 35/1.2 introduction

so all of the chrome 35/1.2 had the rear lens shroud modification before they left the factory.
