Yep...this development area is in a swamp. So far, the authorities successfully control the malaria vector.

are you referring to Pratunam, the clothes wholesale market area? If so, no, this was taken from the top floor of the Tesco shop building at Yoawarat, heart of China town.
Direction of view is ENE, roughly speaking towards Siam square and one also may say Pratunam which has been building up a lot.
