The following three photos are from Pimmit Run, located in Arlington, VA, USA. The river is a fully-fledged stream that widens until it forms a waterfall that empties into the Potomac River near the border tripoint of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Further upstream near my house, however, it is just a trickle that runs through a dense residential area and has been routed through a concrete spillway, hidden between the backyards of homes and tucked away underneath major roads.
