I recently purchased a Nikon 50mm f2 LTM lense. Is there a person who you would recommend for performing a CLA for the lense?

I'd like to know also. I just bought a 50mm f2.0 ltm Nikkor off of e bay and it's supposed to have light internal haze. I'm looking forward to getting it. Thanks. Joe

I thought I had heard Pete Smith was in ill health. Has anyone heard from him lately. As a side note, I have the 50mm f2.0 Nikkor on a Nikon S. In college the Nikon S was my backup camera when a friends Petri died. I loaned him the S and he came back amazed at the lens on the Nikon. I still have that old camera and hope to get a SP someday. Hi Bill, John is Focalpoint, as Peter mentioned. For a simple CLA comparative to others in price, and can recoat lens surfaces too. Very reliable and responsive by email, reasonable (and predictable) TAT, and just all around a nice and competent person to deal with.
Keep in mind that over the last two years most LTM Nikkors have at least doubled in value.
