I was trying to organize my pile o' random photo stuff and came across the Clarus.
Frankly, I think I have too much stuff as I had forgotten that I had this one.
It is not functional but is OK looking in sort of a 50's industrial way.
Mine has the, apparently, more desirable 2" f/2 Raptar lens and the lens is not too poor; dusty, stiff, and a bit hazy but not beat up.
Anyone know enough about the lens to speculate if it could be adapted/hacked to ltm or M mount?

Spent some time poking around on the web and read somewhere the the mount is almost M42. And I have an M42 to EOS adapter. Tried that and it didn't work; I could attach everything but I am fairly sure the rear of the lens will interfere with the mirror in my Rebel. And the lens wouldn't focus to infinity not even close...I also have a Spiratone Macrobell. In M42. So, I could use the Raptar for macro.
I might have to see if my dad will let me borrow his Pentax K 10d for a while.

Well-known
The Wollensak lens on the Clarus-35 is actually a fairly decent piece of vintage glass. I had a fully working example at one time, and it made fabulous images. Well... at least I liked them. LOL. However, I doubt you'll be able to get infinity focus with this lens mounted onto any SLR camera body. You'll need something with a shorter film/sensor to lens mounting flange distance, such as a M4/3 or other mirror-less interchangeable lens camera.
