Classic 1956 Fed. New Paint!

Fine example, fabulous paint job. The label on the (1956?) box is neat too. Printed on an inkjet with a few jets blocked, good for 1956!

Garish sure, I think it would look better in olive green, or that zinc chromate colour.
I'd pay about $25 for it though and take it back to how it was.
$150 for a FED-2 with enamel paint and $3 worth of badges?

That's style gentlemen ... style!

I'd like to see an M9 done like this ... for obvious reasons! :D

I've seen that seller numerous times popping up on Etsy. They do all kinds of FSU cameras in a rainbow of colors!

Looks like the way they decorate their omnibuses and taxis in that part of the world. Very much "pimp my FED." Not my taste, but then there's no accounting for taste and at least someone has a sense of humor (I think). A real stealthy street machine no doubt.

people still buy the things, what is the saying " a fool and his money is soon parted. "
Guy came into our camera club a few years ago, with a long story about his fathers Leica taken off a dead German during the war!!!
It was very obviously a Fed faked to a Leica off ebay, He was not well pleased with the valuation he got on his fake Leica. Exit one punter with red face!!!
He was also warned about selling it as genuine Leica now would now be fraud for which he could be prosecuted!!!
