CLE and Foma film anyone?

I used lately some Fomapan (200+400) with the CLE and get totally (min 2-3 stops +) overexposed negatives.
In other cameras (w/o AE) I never had such problems with foma films.
I noticed also longer exposure times as measured and showed in the viewfinderscale.
Because the TTL measuring during the exposure I suspect an unusual reflection properties of the film surface, can someone verify (or negate) this?

It think it would be pretty extreme for a film surface to reflect enough light to throw off a meter 2-3 stops.

How is your CLE meter accuracy with say, Tri-X?

Never had problems with other film brands.
The last roll was TX and no problems.
Strange is the uniformity of the overexposure over the whole foma films (1x200 and 2x400). I exposed at the box-speed.
And, like said, no problems with foma in the Bessa or Leica.

Was the exposure compensation dial knocked off 0? I can't remember getting such results with Foma, though it's been a while since the last roll.

I stand slightly corrected. Per Ken Rockwell

The CLE reads exposure directly off the film as it exposes at slow speeds, and off the shutter curtains at high speeds.

So are these exposures at slow or higher shutter speeds?

Ah yes, I forgot this. The times shown in the viewfinder are around 1/30 till 1/8 sec. Exposed notable longer.

Like said, never noticed before with other films, but sometimes comes all together...
It looks as if empirical studies are needed here ... 🙄

no problem at all with my CLE and Fomapan 400/200/100... keep in mind, that the real film speed of Fomapan is around 240/125/80 iso...
