I had a Bessa R before moving to a CL. The bessa had a very nice VF and meter. Much much better than the CL. But the shutter noise was awful. My CL was waaaaay queiter. However the biggest issuse with the Bessa was the shutter recoil. I couldn't hand hold a 50mm below 1/30. I can use my D200 and 85mm lens up to 1/15 with no issue. This i thought significantly took away the advantage of using a RF (for me). The CL consistently got me sharp shots with the 40mm at 1/15.
I wonder if this was a problem with my bessa or is a universal issue? Overall i would pick the bessa over the CL IF this problem wasn't there.
