CLE Kaput -- HELP!

A happy ending. Peter at CRR Luton said the camera was just suffering from lack of maintenance over many years. Not only was he able to fix the winding lever, but he also gave it a full CLA at my request. Got the camera back today. It's like having a brand new CLE! So my little problem turned out to be a blessing in disguise, I guess. Thanks again to all of you who offered suggestions.

Sounds like good service. dare I ask how much it cost?

The repair and the CLA together were £141. (Repair alone would have been £78 plus postage.) Not cheap, admittedly, but to me it's money well spent.

Hi,
A bit late becasue the problem is already solved.
I had the same problem two times. As somebody else suggested some fidlling with the actual shutter curtains solved it both times.
