show em' if ya have em'!
if you look carefully, the strap lug not being used is bent flat like it took a hit.
maybe so not so rough as some...
and joel, i think we need a family portrait of your collection...
hope you knew that already when buying the camera. my M3 had taken similar small nick to other ear, but of course eBay seller had taken all pics from the angle where this was not shown.. I would have complained but I had to travel soon with the camera, so there was no point. anyway, its good user M3, no plans to part from it.
BillBingham2;786455My only fear with the CLE is the lack of parts said:i'm going the opposite direction bill, much prefer ae!
the cle was/is a dream kit of sorts, great size, well built and the lenses are truly superb. i might get yet another 90/4 rokkor just to have the kit complete. i was thinking that (as the money becomes available) i might get another body or 2 and have back ups and a spare parts bin to boot.
I have so much "crap" stored it wouldnt all fit on one photo, but I will dig some things out during the day and post for you.
Your grip looks almost factory made for your CLE.
I LOVE MY CLE!

CLEs are just beautiful, in particular with the 40mm Rokkor. Unfortunately they were out of my reach (pricewise) for a long time and today with the spares situation, I do not feel it makes sense for me to buy into it. Enjoy yours as long as you manage to run them.
If it is any consolidation, I run a Contax G1 and expect to end up in a similar situation in a few years time. Until then I will continue to enjoy mine and cross that bridge when I come to it.
there is always talk about the electronics but these little guys are still running strong after more than twenty years of service.
Something new or something blue? A new CLE awaiting its first film
