maybe i will have the chance to get a minolta cle with the 40 summicron-c 40 in a well working condition for about 530 dollars.
can someone tell me, if this is a fair price? there are normal user marks on the cam, but everything seems to be well...

That is a very good price for both camera body and lens. The lens alone sells for around $450, and the camera body also for around $450.

My camera shop around the corner has the CL body for about 150-200 euros. Usually the complete set with 40mm and 90mm lens goes for about €500.

good deal, even factoring in a little touch up time at the shop for both lens and camera.
The price is pretty good even for just the 'cron- I paid $500 for mine, it's the best bargain Leica lens around.

thanks for your quick answers! i red that damage to the electronics can not be repaired any more. are there many cameras, that fail(ed)?
and how about the comparsion between a cle vs a olympus 35 sp?
big difference in sharpness, dynamic range, focus...?

There's only a lightmeter in terms of electronics, but the camera can be used without it if it breaks. Dynamic range would be a quality of film and processing, not of the camera.

The CL and CLE cameras are only related by lens mount; a CLE in my neck of the woods brings $350-$400 on a good day. The electronics are reliable enough, but the bodies were made in the mid-80s.

i found the cle on the website of a photo-shop in krakow. during my holidays i went to the shop but the cam was sold 2 days before. no matter, my olympus rangefinders work well and i saved money for a digital rangefinder - maybe a following version of the fuji x-pro1. thanks anyway for your posts.
