Clearing inventory? Digitalrev has sale on xp1

The webpage info shows 1099 for a xp1 body. US sites have not dropped price yet... The xp1 is now only slightly more expensive then the xe1!!!

Since Asia gets the cameras first.. Are they clearing inventory too early?? I am hoping that new xp2/xe2 will be announced by end of the year.. Sooner would be nice.

i wonder how the new xtrans sensor will translate to the xp2, as it has certainly not been seamless with respect to the 100s or the x20. hopefully they will take a little extra time and get it right...
