The equations are the Maxwell's equations, used to describe the dependencies between magnetic and electric fields and flows. It is pretty advanced physics and calculus, using divergence, curl and gradient; mathematic operators on vector fields.

You probably won't have to worry about the vector operators or Maxwell until you get to university.
