Colleague asked me to scan some glass negatives

Actually, he asked me what a good scanner would be for glass negatives. I told him that I expected a simple Epson V500 would do the trick and offered to make some scans for him.

I actually have not a shred of information on history, background, source, you name it, but boy, they look OLD.

My guess would be approx 1910 give or take a few years, judging by the black collar. This fashion was resurrected (in Britain at any rate) by the "Teddy Boys" in the 1950s - named after the "Edwardian" style coats. (Edwardian referring to King Edward VII's reign.)

I may be totally wrong however 🙂
 
I scanned the rest of the negatives. There are 15 in total. They are packed in a cardboard box, burgundy in color with a faded beige label on it. All are from boys and men. Condition is poor, but technical quality is very good in most cases. My colleague bought them a few years back on a flea market in the French speaking part of Begium.
