Collection of Minolta Rokkors

Since there have been several threads on Minolta legacy here on RFF I wanted to point to this auction (eBay 220603847523).

Some very nice lenses in this set, especially the faster ones and the 21/2.8 MC. My favorite line of Rokkors just before Minolta started cost cutting with MD.

Also, the 85/2.8 Varisoft Rokkor is on eBay currently (150440709033 and 360258653232). Stephen has an article on it here http://www.cameraquest.com/minsoft.htm The only other source to buy this lens from would be Kevins cameras at the usual unusual premium... 😀

I wonder how these lenses perform on MFT or the coming Sony NEX cameras!

That's a very nice collection I would buy if I had a little more money! It will for sure fetch quite a high price!

The 58mm f1.2 is awesome lens.
I have one converted to EOS/Canon.
The color from it is unbelievable since it's a radioactive lens too.

I believe the first "massive" type was radioactive. With the newer MCs they dropped it. I love mine too on the SRT... Awesome lens. They dont build anything like that today.
