My M3 (see my icon) was born same year as me, 1959.
I didn't plan that, it's just a happy co-incidence.

1979 was a bit late for most of the cameras I find interesting (rangefinders, TLRs, folders, etc). I'm sure I'm missing something, but the XA is the most interesting so far and... we didn't get along too well.

With 50 plus RF lenses, I am bound to run into a lens that was made in 1955.
