Color Skopor 25mm f4 lnes on M6

Hi friends,
Just got the Color Skopor 25mm f4 lens at a throw away price. A brand new lens with no usage and absolute in mint condition for just half the price. Now intend to use it on my M6. But I hate external finders.

So wanna know if I can use the entire viewfinder of .72x M6 for framing? Or should i actually go for a second body like the Bessa R4M /R4A?

Does anybody use it on a M6 without any finder ?

I'd find having to carry a second body for just one lens FAR more annoying than one external finder. With a lens that wide you don't need to focus, as such I don't even look through the focusing window. Only the external viewfinder for composition.

I tried that but never got used to it. I personally hate external VFs that don't have shoe locks (read "most"), so I sold the 25.

I also have this lens. I had no difficulty at all learning to judge its FOV through the camera finder. I generally use a .58 M6, because I wear glasses. If you don't need glasses, I think you will have no trouble with the .72 finder. Just "shoot loose" outside the 28mm framelines.

It's well worth the effort to make it work, IMO - it's a great little lens, and I love the click-stopped focusing. I wish I had stuck with it, but with my eye socket shape I can't even see all of the 28mm framelines in my .72 M6.

The R4A is a very good camera - I actually bought one to use as a VF for 21mm. But then I sold it and got a 21/25 external VF. Just liked shooting my M7 more and didn't use the 21mm as much as I thought I would.
