I have to disagree with ZorkiKat... There are still reasons to shoot slide film.
1.) The color balance in scanning is much easier to hit correctly with slide film than with negative film.
2.) Kodachrome might be difficult than the E-6 films, but still very useable. My feeling is there is so much color in Kodachrome that it chokes my scanner once in a while.
3.) That slide film is more contrasty may be an advantage or it may be a disadvantage. --> Choose your medium apropriately.
4.) Slide film seems to have a bigger gamut than color negative film.
Which slide film is best? You have to try them yourself and make up your mind... 🙂
