Thanks, Paul. That's Budapest, where I just spent six weeks. The neighborhood I lived in (just east of the Danube in Pest, north of Margit Bridge) was great. Friendly, picturesque, a good place for late night walks.

Thanks, Paul. That's Budapest, where I just spent six weeks. The neighborhood I lived in (just east of the Danube in Pest, north of Margit Bridge) was great. Friendly, picturesque, a good place for late night walks.

I enjoyed that area as well -- it was too chilly to enjoy when I was there last year in May, hopefully I'll get a chance to go back and maybe spend at least one week. The traditional dishes and the pastries are just as good as walking around and getting lost (to burn it all off!)
