Here is a vote against the color change. Books, magazines and newspapers generally have black print on a white background, it is something everyone is used to, so why reverse it here.

Well, rover, I'm happy he didn't get a brand new Contax G in titanium!

As for the color scheme... I like it. The only thing I would change is the background color because it makes some avatars don't stand out as well; if the grey background could be lightened a bit it would be great.

Besides, the white lettering against dark background helps reading without straining your eyes. And also makes the font seem larger. In fact, the font in the home page is larger...

I like the warm feel I get whith these colors or ( gray tones ) . I find it kind of welcoming. Its not the best combo in the world but I have been trying to get close to this for a while. I just think it easy on the eyes. But, if you don't like, don't worry.My moods will probably change them in the near future. 🙂

Yep, I like this combo too and my eyes feel better with white fonts against a dark (not completely black) gray.
