Having replaced several shutters over the past 2 years on my camera's, I always used black curtain material which can be obtained by micro tools. But i've seen camera's with a blue, green or even red curtain. I just wondered where to get this.
I know the same material is used for other purposes like organs and even player piano's.
Does someone have an idea where to get such red or green curtain?

Microtools also have red/black curtains.
I've installed some red shutter cloth in the past in FED and even Leica. The cloth is DIY, like the other shutter material I use.
The red cloth made for other purposes may not be suitable- too thick, not too pliant, or worse, lacks proper lightproofing.
