I’m happy to announce my new Blurb book: COME SEE COME SAW. This is a collection of photos shot with my Rolleiflex cameras (2.8f / Rolleiwide) and Kodak Tmax film between February and May 2014. The whole book may be viewed for free online: http://www.blurb.com/b/5301865-come-see-come-saw

If you're doing a Blurb book the coupon codes for May are: MAYDEAL (25 percent if you spend $100) and BIGDEAL (35 percent if you spend $300)

.. thanks for looking. I appreciate it! I'll have a hard copy of the book on 5/27 and am curious to see what I'll think of it. I did my best to lighten images for printing and hope I judged correctly. I wanted to use Blurb's new BookWright software, but I didn't have the time to decipher all it's nuances, and used BookSmart instead -- which is helpful because I can copy a previous book and have my basic structure to work from.

Scanning: For color scanning one can use the ICE dust removal -- which works great. But with black and white, I have to magnify to 86 percent and remove dust and any scratches -- this chore takes forever and is boring. So, I'm glad I plowed through 3 months of shooting, and have that off my to-do list.

For design - and I hope I like it when I see it -- I tried to get some inspiration from my favorite photo book publisher - Steidl. I like their minimalist approach and the use of the occasional blank white or black pages.

Well, this was a nice way to review my 100 or so favorite photos over the last three months. Thanks again for taking the time to look...

Thanks for that, Dan. There are some absolute gems in there (and the whole collection is very strong anyway). Impressive work with TLRs!

I really like your sentiment in the introduction: My hope is that people - and especially other photographers - will say, "If I saw that, I'd shoot it too." You certainly succeeded with me, FWIW.
