Coming back from Taiwan

This is my last night in Taipei before leaving for home and I have had the good fortune to take a couple extra days off from my business trip so that I may do some daytime photography with my Kiev 4A and assorted lenses. One thing that always strikes me about this place are the vibrant colours so I rarely shoot B&W. Well, this time around I forced myself to think differently and shot APX100.

On one hand I don't want to come home as I really like this place but I'm itching to get home into the darkroom.

Cheers,

thanks for the heads-up Russ.

Some very nice color captures in your Taiwan gallery 🙂

I spent some time there as well, miss the wonderful street food and the hustle and bustle well into the night. It seems like there was an entirely separate nightlife that just never ends. And you're right about the colors, very vibrant country.

Hi Russ. I really enjoyed your night street shots. It takes me back to when I visited China and Hong Kong. Actually, it also reminds me of the days when I use to roam the streets of China Town in Toronto.

I'm back home finally. Trying to stay awake until some decent hour to readjust my internal clock. Here's a tantalizing peek at one image taken with a Horizon 202 from the other evening.

Enjoy!

what vibrant colour!

when are you heading up to edmonton again?

Dunno Joe,

The CEO asked me 10 minutes ago whether I could go back to Taiwan for next week. I had plans to attend the Fringe Festival in Edmonton the other weekend. Also had plans to take a week off work to go fly fishing.

All work and no play...
Hang on, stumbling around night markets with a camera is sort of like play.

Cheers,

Russ
