compatible flash for yashica electro 35?

Small one with central contact working on 2 AA's if your Yashi has hot shoe (this flashes usually are manual) - small and light it can sit in bag.
Downside - they usually are fixed direction, so can not be bounced off the ceiling.
Workaround: get a simple flash bracket with folding head, so you can bend it back, pointing flash up. Note - for this setup you'll need flash with PC cord.

Or maybe foldable thyristor-based, look for one which can be pointed up the ceiling. This variety draws batteries more intelligently if you use Auto mode. While they work great, they look somehow weird on RF's. They match SLR's, but if you don't care how it look - why not?

I like flashes with PC cord so they can be used on flash brackets. Moving flash away from lens minimizes chance of red-eye, in case you don't want them in pictures. Foldable flash and/or bracket with foldable head allow bouncing.

i'd like to buy some flash for my yashica...

what should i bought??

If your automatic expose works correctly, then buy anything you want. Everything, and I mean everything, will work if your photocell still works properly. If you set up the camera in a dark room and trip the shutter you will find that it says open for many seconds. But if you fire a flash in the room, the shutter will close almost instantly when the flash fires.

The light metering circuitry integrates the light as it receives it, and it should close the shutter properly. Now, that assumes your light metering still works like it left the factory. That may or may not be true. But if you pick up the cheapest flash you can find, and it works correctly, then you can search for whatever has the features you want, and it will work as well.

What light sensitive cell use the Electros? I doubt it would be a (fast) bluecell.
