I have just bought one of these loaders and while I am waiting for its arrival, I wonder if anyone has user instructions for this machine?? Mine is arriving without info so if any of you..... I would appreciate it

Computrols were made in Israel (!) but later models were produced in the UK. You will find them on you-know-where dot co dot uk at very reasonable prices and my experiences with that site are all positive. JB

I remember the Computrol well, when living in the UK, it was sold under the Barfen label along with many darkroom gear and materials, a house-brand of a retailer. However I prefer the Watson, and I still have two, one a very late model and the other an original B&J bakelite one.
One tip: do not use regular Sellotape for attaching the film end to the spool shaft, use a half-inch wide masking tape, and leave a small gap between the shaft and the end of the film, this would prevent the film edge from riding up the spool flanges.
