Krosya said:Second set of pics is much better!
Hi Krosya,
thanks for the comment, I feel a bit ambivalent though. I agree they are more impressive but the level of processing (quite normal today) is already somewhere that I do not feel this is still what it looked like "as recorded". But hey who cares. Printing my own B/W stuff on Multigrade IV, about 10years ago that is something totally different. Sitting infront of the PC, waiting for the scanner to finish the job, I remembered and appreciated at the same time

Wow, I don't remember Charles Lloyd as being that old. Saw him @ the Filmore in SF back in the late 60's.
I don't remember myself as being that old either, but I am. Damn
Still put "Forest Flower" on now and then and it brings back a lot of memories.
Thanks for the pic's

As we obviously have some fans of Mr Lloyd amoung us, I digged into the archives. Here are some B/W shots from '91.lewis44 said:Wow, I don't remember Charles Lloyd as being that old. Saw him @ the Filmore in SF back in the late 60's.

Hey Icebear ... the last shot in the 2nd set shows class ... he's wearing a jacket with pockets easily big enough for a Leica!

Hi Trius,
he might very well use a Leica - if he photographs at all, he wears an IWC watch, see his website. He's gotten a private tour at their headquarters. Would be a fine match...

Hi Mike and Trius,
thanks for the comments, I agree the BW shots (allthough not Leica) are better. For this purpose (concert shots) the evil SLR is the better tool.
But basically the noise of the SLR was the reason I started the RF madness ....
