Connection speeds - something wrong with the server?

Yesterday at some point RFF was displaying the "could not connect to database" error window for a while and then started to be really slow. Since then it has been serving up pages at a crawl. Is something wrong with the server?

I have been having problems too - I have often been getting database errors in the last couple of days.

Also here. Every link requires multiple refreshes to finally load.

I've seen the database message 4-5 times on Saturday and Sunday, posting a message takes an age (failed a couple of times)

this loadup took 28" FWIW, www.stevehuffphoto.com is showing the same delay. Not so with www.fredmiranda.com or anybody else on my list
