If anyone is interested:
I've a Nikon S2 with the standard 50mm Nikkor f/1.4 lens, and I'm looking to trade it for a Leica M body of some kind- the camera itself is in very nice shape, with little brassing, but plenty of scuffs on the bottom plate. The rangefinder and shutter were restored last year when I bought it. Rangefinder spot is very bright- the camera works very well, smoothly, with no trace of the 50 years of history it carries.
The camera would come with the CV 85mm lens as well (no finder though- get the FSU finder!)
Any takers?
I like the camera but I have a complete Kiev setup (including 21mm, 35mm, 50mm f/1.5 and f/2, 85mm, and 135mm lenses). The Kontax Kopy has advantages over the Nikon- the shutter is quieter. Sadly, my Kiev's flash goes off at the wrong time (before the bottom shutter is all the way out of the way), but that's another issue and will be fixed.

I managed to find one for trade- a Leica M3 with Summicron (the body is NOT close focus adjusted)
Chrome/silver body/black lens/bright silver lens cap. just the way G-d made 'em.
Already figured out how to adjust the rangefinder. EXCELLENT!
