Contacting Leica for serial number history?

Hi Everyone - I've seen a lot of people mention that they've contacted Leica for information regarding a particular serial number etc. to see when it was delivered, to who, etc.

Where is a good email address at Leica to send requests like this? should i just send it straight to info@leica-camera.com?

I have a black Leicaflex standard that looks like it's been professionally used and just wondered if I could find any background info on it.

Go to link . Unfortunately in French but will give you date of Leica M and R cameras . FYI Boitier is camera and objectif is lens. All you need to do is type in serial number and the date will come up
