Your camera has no slow speeds so there is only one dial to set for speeds 1/25 to 1/1000 sec and B.
The view finder is the inner window and the range finder is the outer window.

And...important! Only turn the shutter speed dial one way, ever, it should be obvious from the little triangles.
I'd tell you which way but my camera is packed away.
Does your camera have a little dimple in front of the focussing wheel?

I'm just trying my first Contax-I (type-4, after Kuc): it looks like working fine and, after all, the 4-groups shutter selector is not that difficult to understand...
