Hello, I have been using my 28/8 Tessar with my Contax IIIa this weekend and I posted some of the photos on the Microraïon blog
I hope you'll like them! By the way, I'm hoping to receive my 21/4 Skopar to see how they compare in contrast. I know there is a 60 years gap in technology but still ...
EDIT: I already discussed this with Nico, but according to you, what is the best solution to avoid overexposed skies with a wide angle lens ? Would you use a yellow filter? or something else?

Yellow filter should help. Give it a try and see if you like the result. Yellow filter does several things -- adds more detail to blue sky, lightens detail on green plants and leaves; lightens skin tones of light-skinned people.

Thank you Vince, I will try this.

I like the photos, too. It's nice to see a 70-year-old lens still taking good pictures.

I've seen the pictures on your flickr... and I see you like the lens a lot
I doubt I could use a 28/8, but your results are quite nice - for such an old and slow lens

It's old, it's slow ... but it mounts very nicely
Btw I always have my 50/1.5 J-3 on reach when going around with the Tessar.
