Contax Aria rewind issues

Hi,

I recently acquired a Contax Aria, and it works perfectly except it does not auto rewind. I was wondering if someone might know how I can fix this. I have found I can manually rewind using a pin to trigger the manual rewind, but thought it would be good to see if the auto rewind actually works or not.

Integral drive electronic film cameras usually check for "end of film" by measuring electric parameters in the motor power supply. As fresh high-quality CR2 cells are increasingly hard to get, I'd first of all check whether the ones installed supply enough power under load - if they are stale, that discrimination between motor states might fail...

Custom Function 4 is probably 1, and must be 0 to auto-rewind. See p.174 in the manual (available online).
