I've received my latest slides and now I found that from the right side of the picture something is missing and on the left side is too much, which means I can not make the right composition.
With open shutter and a piece of matted glass I see also not the same frame as I see in the finder. I have the problem with both the Sonnar 90 mm as with my Planar 35 mm. I used the Contax G1 already 7 years and never had this problem.
Does anyone know if it is repairable ?
Does anone els had this problem?

This sounds normal- perhaps- as the G2 doesn't give a 100% viewfinder image. I've been thinking of modifying my lens mounts to open up the view through the camera- the G2 has a continious zooming finder, so by filing aways an undetermined amount of the stop that adjusts the viewfinder I could theoretically make it 100%, or much closer. I've been watching on ebay for a real beater 45 or 35 to use for testing.

This sounds like the viewfinder shifted to one side, i.E. severe missalignment, but hwo should this happen?
